What tourists doesn’t know is that there is a certain captivating view hidden on one of Caraballaro range of mountains located in Natividad called the Maranum Falls. It is also sometimes referred to as Batchelor Falls being situated on Barangay Batchelor East, Municipality of Natividad.

Maranum Falls is one of the most well-known waterfalls in the province of Pangasinan. In Ilokano, “maranum” means “many waters” which describes the waterfalls perfectly, as it never dries out even during the dry season. Maranum is located at the foothills of the Caraballo mountain range.

We passed through some narrow cliff road. Going to the falls is not that easy. If you have your kids with you or elders, you need to assist them. The way to the falls is steeper and slippery. You need to be very careful. There are large boulders that would really catch your interest. The trail is rather steep, and depending on your pace, the trek will take around 45 minutes or more. There are handrails and safety measures installed along the trail to help visitors on their adventure.
